Jamaica vs. Key West

I'm possibly traveling to negril with friends for Spring Break. I'm not looking for the insane Spring Break cnetral, but I am looking for fun, I was also born and raised in Key West, FL is Jamaica that much different and worth going to?

It's a different country with different people and customs. Go if you can. You will have a blast and it will be a great experience.
