Jamaica for Graduation
We are a group of 6 23 year old guys going away the first week of May for college graduation. Just wondering if anyone knows the best area of Jamaica for us to go. We are looking for a good nightlife, with the option to just relax on the beach for a couple of days. I'm assuming Negril would be the best for us but I'm not sure. Any suggestions and hints would be greatly appreciated.

You might enjoy Tensing Pen or renting
one of the Moon Dance villas in Negril which meets the beach/nightlife/young guys celebrating criteria spot-on. If you're intrepid, take a day off from beach and go to Roaring River/caves and at The Blue Hole Gardens at the end of the road or spleunking/caving Indiana Jones style at Quashie River Sink with Carolyn Barrett, a very good private off-the-beaten track tour guide who can be hired for day or more trips.

I think Negril would be perfect for you. You can relax or still party hard. Congrats on graduation. My son is almost there (Dec grad). Don't miss cliff diving & the sunset at Rick's. You will miss eating lobster as the season is closed from 4-1 to 6-30.Try posting at www.negril.com or www.jamaicans.com to hook up with some great people.Their pictures & trip reports will make you start packing now. I have even seen a live webcast posting on the negril.com site so maybe you could catch that & get an idea of what you'll see.
I also recommend Talk of the Town Tours if you want to take a tour of the area. They come highly recommended & their rates are good. They do several kinds of tours (with just your group) or will customize one based on your wants. Very nice people & they share advice on island info.

I agree with benj....Talk of the TOwn Tours (aka Sala and Sienna) are great, we have scheduled a trip with them next week.
FYI the webcasts are actually out of www.realnegril.com but they often post them on negril.com and jamaicans.com when the broadcast is starting.
