Itinerary help
Happy Summer Everyone!!!
My family of four ages 49, 42, 11 and 7 are going to Barbados for nine days July 16 - 24, 2008. Of those nine days, we basically lose two for travel, which leaves us with seven full days to play!!! I'm trying to find a sample itinerary for seven days in Barbados. Is there one out there?
A little bit about us...we do not enjoy resting on vacations.
We like to explore, play, go and do. We want to see, do, and experience as much as we can. This is just what we enjoy. We will have our own rental car. Additionally, we have already scheduled an Island Safari Adventure Tour (on land) and a Silver Moon Catamaran Cruise (on sea).
We don't like to "waste" time...we want to make the most of our time. I've tried to divide the island up by north, central and south. Then I tried east and west. Then I got frustrated and decided to post here!
If anyone has been to Barbados and can help us we would greatly appreciate it.
Blessings to you and yours!

Hi everyone,
Just returned from our 26th trip to the island, and still found new things to do. Great weather, food, etc.
If you'd like to read my recent updates, write me for them at:

While everyone has a different idea of what a vacation should be (see the island, lie on the beach, scuba dive, etc) - here are a few site-seeing ideas:
1) Wander around Bridgetown, the Garrison and see the museum.
2) See the island (gardens, plantations, the zoo, Harrison's Cave, the east coast, etc). When I was in Barbados I divided up the island north, central and south. Then spent a day seeing each section.
3) Take a catamaran trip (which you already have planned).
