I'm surprised that any of these respondents can enjoy such a laid back vacation spot as St. John. You all seem a little too uptight and anal! The water is safe; the sunsets are beautiful and the overall experience is one of relaxation and tranquility. Enjoy!

I'm with you Laurie...the island and the water are both safe. Having said that, I still prefer a cold Red Stripe or Caribe or a good frozen rum drink.<BR><BR>Schultz
