Interested In Your Opinions

We are planning on being in Nassau on July 2nd through 5th and are curious about where to go and what to do on the island. We'd also like to know what to stay away from! If you are a golfer and have reviews on the courses on the island, that would be great, too.
We're a couple of "babes in the woods" as this is our first trip to the Caribbean so any and all advice is very appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
J&D

Atlantis is a must to visit. You can do a tour for about $25 pp.

We are staying at the Clarion Resort on Paradise Island - mainly for the golf course. Have you been?

Be sure to do the Stuart Cove snorkeling shark trip. It is an amazing experience. Stuart Cove is next door to the Clarion.

Be aware the resort is split into two sections which are a ten minute walk apart. The main section has the lobby and the restaurants and is next to the golf course. The other section is on the beach.
Denise,
Atlantis is an amazing resort on Paradise Island. The grounds are a sight to behold. They have ceiling to floor aquariums and the Dig, which is what they say the lost city of Atlantis would look like. You can tour the grounds and the Dig for $25, but cannot use their pools or fantastic water slides unless you're staying there or the Comfort Suites or Harborside Resort.

The Clarion has sucked alot of money into this resort - we were there when it was South Ocean.

It is very laid back and really seperate from Nassau and Paradise Island which is nice - not all the people and crowds but very easy to get to everything via buses from the resort.

Golf was not bad

There are some great little casaul mom and pop restaurants in that area. Ask the front desk - some of the resrtaurants will even come and drive you.
