Hurricane effect on Anguilla

We have plans to go to Anguilla in Feb. We have been there many times and are not sure if the roads(we drive) and restaurants are badly damaged...our hotel has not canceled but friends of ours have said that Cuisenart has canceled their reservation...also is the airport at St. Martin up and running? Thanks for any help..

Go to the Anguilla Forum on TripAdvisor - there are several threads (all with up to date info) discussing the situation on the island following Hurricanes Irma and Maria.

I'm sure the St. Maarten airport will be working but could still be in very rough shape by February. I'm not sure about ferries. It's still a long time to February, so the situation will definitely change by then. The Cuisinart Resort was significantly damaged by the hurricane, though, so it may not be back online by then.

Cuisinart will be closed for about a year

What resort are you staying at?

Zemi is gorgeous and will be open

Just in case fly Seabourne from San Juan straight to Anguilla

Blanchards needs some work but should stay open, Facebook has video and pics of different areas on "Anguilla for tourists" page

Thanks....we will be staying at Frangipani...I guess if Blanchards is open the damage to that side was less than the Cuisinart side..although I think The Straw Hat had significant damage...I'll try the other sites..
