Hard to give specific without knowing when and where you are flying from as time of year and airfare can have a big effect on how much you have left for food/accommodations. Generally speaking islands you can reach non-stop from your nearest International Gateway Airport will have the least expensive flights.

Lots of AI resorts in the Dominican Republic. Also look at Jamaica, Cancun and Playa del Carmen. Those destinations are noted for an abundance of All Inclusives in the lower budget ranges.

Check airline websites and travel websites like Travelocity, Orbitz, etc for "package deals" to resorts on the above mentioned destinations - you should find quite a few in your price range. Also, many times you'll find ads for package deals in the Travel Section of your Sunday newspaper.

Mexico, Jamaica and the DR have the abundance of AI's in the budget you have listed.

If you are looking for an AI in the Dominican Republic then I would recommend the Gran Ventana Hotel. They often offer packages for honeymooners and weddings.
When I was there last year there were two sunset beach weddings and candle lit dinners on the beach.
