Help with Punta Cana hotels
Hi all,
My boyfriend and I are planning a long weekend trip to Punta cana over president's day. Thus far, according to our budget, these are the places that are in the runnings: Natura park resort and spa, Ifa villas Bavaro, Riu Naiboa and Ocean Bavaro Resort.
We are looking for something on the beach with decent facilities in terms of pools and cleanliness of rooms. We are not big on hotel activities, though snorkeling would definitely be a plus. We also really don't care for spring breaker types nor is night life that important to us. Another concern is the food as we have never done an all inclusive resort before.
So, if anyone can give us some advice on these hotels based on our preferences, that would be awesome! Thanks as always.

I don't know anything about the hotels you mentioned, but have you looked at the Sunscape Grand? I haven't stayed there, but I'm also planning a DR trip, and my sister told me she LOVED it there. I priced it around $125 a night for the room, all-inclusive...that was for the summer though, so it may be more in the high season. Just throwing it out there!

Oh, and someone told me to check out this site, which was super-helpful -- it'll probably have reviews of all the hotels you mentioned. http://www.debbiesdominicantravel.com/

thanks for your advice...I checked out that site too. Does anyone have some good ideas about how to get good deals? I've been mostly looking through apple vacations and expedia for packages...is it cheaper to purchase airfare separately?
