Haiti, A Trip To Cap Haitien

Although I grew up with friends from the poorest country in the Western hemisphere and have lived most of my life within easy reach of Haiti it wasn't until about three years ago that I finally visited Cap Haitien.

Cromier Plage Resort

A short flight from Miami and within hours I was at Cromier Plage Resort after a free airport pick that gave me a good glimpse of local life in this part of Haiti. My afternoon is spent relaxing on the beach in a hammock followed by drinks and a nice dinner.

The Citadelle

Early morning and I am off to explore The Citadelle and a few other sights around Cap Haitien.

Samui,

Cap Haitien was easy to visit and a nice introduction to Haiti. I have since been to Labadee during cruises but it's not the same.
