We live in NJ but there are no decent flights out of PHL(philly) to PTP Guadeloupe. We would have to drive to BWI(balt) 2 hour drive!! The question;

Change planes in San Juan 50 minutes, do you think thats enough time? I would think we don't have to do customs until we arrived in Guadeloupe?

Any Any help would be greatly appreciared!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you are correct. no customs for you in san juan. it's american. you'll do customs there on the way home. sju is a smaller airport. i think 50 mins should be plenty of time as you won't have to claim your bags.

Assuming everything is running on time, 50 minutes should be enough. Is it American or American Eagle that goes from SJU to PTP? In case you're not aware, with American Eagle flights you have to board a bus well before departure time that will take you out to your plane. I don't know what happens if you miss the bus out of the American Eagle terminal, if they'll send one back or not for you. The good news in this situation, though, is that the AE flights frequently run a little late!

Hotel Diwali is nice and small. Very private located at the end of St Anne beach. Good to know a little French. Guadeloupe is a great place to vacation and you can see it all in one week.

Skids,

The beach seems nice there, can you suggest any other hotel similar to this?
