My husband and I are going to the Caymans in May and have stayed at the Westin several times. I understand they are renovating and i have reservations at both properties...i love the beach at the Westin but the Kimpton gets amazing reviews but is also quite a bit more expensive...just wondering who has been to both and how you would rate the beach difference. I like the Westin also because i feel i don't have bring anything other than my bathing suit a a pair of shorts...Kimpton feels like I might want to make more for enjoying the evening there. Any thoughts? I also don't want to be sitting at the beach listening to drilling
