actually did some research on this property today via tripadvisor.com
seems the majority of the issues with the property are related to the noise from the street as some bedrooms back up to it. Bar with loud music, car stereos, etc...
most of what I found was positive about the resort itself, but perform your own DD

I have stayed there many times and it is very nice. We never had any noise issues ever! The rooms are very large with a kitchenette and a separate bedroom. The staff is very friendly, and you can't beat the beach.

We just got back from Cayman and though we didn't stay at the beach suites we went to the pool bar and hung around there one afternoon. I was happy to see it busier than ever since Ivan. Seemed like a lot of European visitors and more families than I remember. It looked exactly the same, prices same at restaurant and bar...just busier. It had been very very quiet around there for the past few years we had visited...like you didn't know how they could be in business.
