Has anyone been to the Golden Lemon recently? We have a chacne to take a trip with friends and they really want to go here....we are looking for a quiet, kicked back vacaiton.

The GL is far from anything on the north end of the island. It will for sure be quiet and you will "kick back". It is very nice with private plunge pools, excellent food and service. There is no beach to speak of and you will need a car to get around. The taxi's would be quite expensive. The beach's are all in the Frigate Bay area or on the South Peninsula. The Atlantic side(rough water)behind The Marriott and the calm Caribbean at Timothy Beach Resort. Near the GL you also have Ottley's Plantation and Rawlin's Plantation. All pricey but nice and Kate Spencer's Studios and Galleries are at Rawlins also.
