Going to Atlantis next week . . .

Are there a lot of mosquitos? I seem to be a magnet for them and want to be prepared. Had a problem with them on my honeymoon when we went to Hawaii. Thanks.

We were at Atlantis in November and didn't have a problem with mosquitos. My husband is also a mosquito magnet. I'm not sure if it depends on the time of year though.

Just in case you might want to buy some bug spray. While looking for our trip I found Muskol (sp?) to have the highest deet level (active ingredient).

Have a great trip!

Have been to the Atlantis several time in July. I'm outside all the time--day and night. Don't remember any problems with mosquitos. I did, however, get stung by a jelly fish. They are small and round--about the size of a silver dollar. It was only one time. Never saw them before or since.

I just returned from Bahamas last week and didn't see a mosquito. Although I didn't stay at Atlantis, we did visit the hotel last Tuesday and didn't see any bugs.
Hope you don't mind my asking a question with a question!

Will be in Miami next week on business and American is having a special for Nassau. Does Atlantis or any of the other luxury hotels have web sites or 800 numbers for last minute "special deals"?

Thanks ~ Duck

www.atlantis.com

I doubt you'll find any discounts. The place is usually booked.
