goblin hill villas

How much would meals for a week cost (appx) for 2 adults? Since Portland is so lush, are mosquitos a problem? Any entertainment on the resort? Any & all information is appreciated,,,,,,,,,,,Dan

Well , I would not really call it a resort, a villa style small hotel . Food costa are approx. the same as in the states and Canada . The cook will do the shopping for you for a very small fee , the very detailed bill comes back . Definitely less expensive than the restaurants , and the meals are wonderful . Each week there is a managers party , and a little band played on the lawn of the villas . But nightly there is no entertainment . The tree bar is very pretty , and the security guard/bartender is really cool .We never saw anyone there though ! We would go back in a heartbeat , but this is not a resort , and a very quiet place . We used the mousquito net at night , but it was not a huge problem .

There is an active music scene , so entertainment is a cab-ride away ! No Doubts last award winning album was done in Drapers , about 3 minutes from Goblin Hill . An amazing recording studio is there and you can actually rent rooms .
