Getting married in Aruba
I am getting married at the Hyatt in Aruba this July. I need a salon and spa for the hair and makeup, manicures, and pedicures for myself and the bridesmaids and a place for the rehearsal dinner. If anyone has a suggestions or general advice about Aruba I would love to hear it. Thanks.

Congratulations! I got married in Aruba last year and used the Hyatt salon for hair - they did a very good job. Bring pictures to reference. All the bridesmaids and mothers had hair done there as well. We ended up getting our makeup trials here, buying it and doing it ourselves, I wasn't so sure if someone could do it there as well as here, but I bet the Hyatt would be fine for that as well. I also had mani/pedi there. It seemed the best choice. We had our rehearsal dinner at the Wyndham outside under their big palapa, food was great. We had 70 people at that dinner, so we needed a bigger space. If you have a smaller party, I would recommend Madame Jeanette's - food is excelent. We LOVED Aruba and were so happy we did it there and so were our guests. My only advice would be to remember that they def do everything (banquet orders, flowers, cake, etc) on island time, so don't stress about sticking with the typical timeline. They know what they are doing and it will be beautiful! Good luck!

I am gettig married in July at Bucuti. I am getting my hair & makeup done at the Aveda salon by Bucuti. I have never gone to that salon before but it came recommended. I am getting my nails done at Bucuti Spa. Regarding rehersal dinner it would depend on # of people. I may have suggestions if you give a head count. Congrats on your upcoming wedding.
