George Town, G. Caymen Cruise Stop
Okay. Forget shopping. Cruise ship arrives at George Town port at 7:00am and departs at 4:00pm.
What are the "must dos" in the short time alotted. The travelers are two women, not sports types.
Thanks in advance for all responses.

The number 1 attraction in Grand Cayman would most likely be a Stingray Sandbar tour. There are many half day charters that will run $20-40 bucks. They usually have a couple stops for reef snorkeling, and of course a stop at the sandbar where you will swim with & feed the friendly rays. A must do in my opinion for anyone visiting GC.
If that doesn't sound inviting, maybe a nice relaxing day somewhere on beautiful Seven Mile Beach. Plenty of great spots to picks from depending whether you prefer quiet areas, or something with food & drinks.

you must go to HELL! Really, it is a strange looking place, and the devil is there also! We had a good time there, laughing, and taking pictures with the devil, telling our friends back home, we had been to hell and back! Also visit the rum factory, those rum cake samples are delightful!

i agree with the poster above: Stingray City and 7 Mile Beach. Capt. Marvin's is a good choice of boats to take to Stingray City. Not packed with people. If you do 7 Mile, try to head down closer to the Westin where the beach is much less crowded and narrow than the Hyatt. The beach along the Westin area is absolutely breathtaking. A must!!

Don't miss Stingray City. We went with Dexter http://www.dexters-fantaseatours.com/2004/index.html - he has a beautiful new boat and you get very personalized service.

I know you said you weren't "sports types"... but Grand Caymen is also a great place to take a scuba resort class. A little bit of instruction (2-3 hours) and an easy (~30 ft) dive follows.... I did it with a group I was travelling with and it was really a great and unique experience (I'm now a certified diver and dive every chance I get).
But all of the above suggestions are good too... Stingray City and hell are both neat experiences as well.
