Man, those power outages don't seem to be getting any better. I'll decide sometime in November where my next trip will be.

I ended up visiting Nicaragua for 3 months early in the year. Felt like Cuba in many ways, but with fully stocked stores and 24 hour a day electricity. Almost didn't visit Cuba this year, until I did a last minute 2 week trip to Varadero. As of now, I can't see my next winter vacation being in Cuba. I can live with 6 hour a day power outages. 18+ hours? Nope.

remember you from the TA Puerto Vallarta forum. I haven't been to PV since 2018 and probably won't be returning anytime soon.
