Fodors is best message board

I have written responses to many people on this site and have had some nice responses to my messages. I think this is the best travel info line I have found. Any one know of others? I am currently interested in all the budget info I can dig up on Tobago that I can as we are going in Feb 98, I have tried other travel pages and it seems very outdated.Help Fodors thanks a bunch and Merry HO HO
christmas from one of the best places in the world : Canada!

I agree that this message board is the best I've found for talking travel. Others I have found are at http://travel4.epicurious.com/HyperN...caribbean.html (this is Epicurious Travel's Caribbean Forum) and http://www.traveltalk.com/cgi-bin/talkthread/carib (this is TravelTalk-CARIBTalk's Forum). If you find others, please post them.

Another source for Caribbean travel info & experiences is http://www.best.com/~ctr/ctr_indx.htm (go to island index of Caribbean Travel Roundup)

So far, Fodor's has not steered us wrong. We just came back from Curacao and stayed at a place that he recommended and, it was exactly like he mentioned
in his book. From our experience, whatever he has
said about a resort or a place is quite accurate.
As a result, we even purchased his book on the
Caribbean...

I've been travelling "with" Fodor's for many years to different parts of the world. I've also recommended your books to many people. Never have I heard any complaints. Your research is excellent and up-to-date. In addition, your honesty allows the reader to avoid areas that may not interest them. As far as message boards are concerned, I consider yours to be the best. Keep up the good work and a very HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone at Fodor's.

I think this site is GREAT for content, but does anyone else find it incredibly SLOW in responding and posting messages??

Slow? yes, but well worth the wait. THANK YOU, FODOR'S FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO SHARE. YOUR BOOKS
HAVE ALSO BEEN SO VALUABLE ON ALL OUR CARIBBEAN
VACATIONS. COULD YOU PUT MORE INFORMATION ON
SNORKLING SITES FOR EACH ISLAND IN THE NEXT
PUBLICATION?

I agree-it's the best, and the slowest. Why isn't the Caribbean broken down into sub-catagories? It would make it easier to post and find info regarding the area you're interested in.
