Finally....the day has arrived!

We leave in 12 hours! Woo Hoo! A well deserved, long anticipated respite from our hectic lives, jobs and responsibilities. I brought up the Caribbean satellite and tings look good, mon! Got the tanning oils, shorts, t-shirts and the always handy Playmate (cooler) packed and ready to go! I want you all to think of me over the next 9 days as I am relaxing on beautiful Negril beach with bucket full of Red Stripes! Jerk chicken and beef patties for lunch, lobster for dinner....that's what I'm talkin' 'bout! I want to thank Don for all his advice....I'll make sure the dew rag is covering the appropriate body parts! Full trip report upon our return on Thanksgiving Day! I'll check in once or twice during our stay, as well. Irie vibes to all of you!

I am so happy for you that the day has finally arrived ! We had to cancel our STJ trip due to a family illness We plan to reschedule when it is feasable, we were to leave in 13 days. It will definitely still be the next destination and I'm sure worth the wait. At least I got to go to Jamaica and enjoy Negril Beach and CLP in July, thanks as always for the recommmendations. I will be spying on you and Julie and watching for you having breakfast on the web cam. I'll watch for your posts while you are there. Try not to brag toooo much!

BTW, I know you have been to Negril many times, but if you haven't checked out Gambino's, it is worth a try for good Italian food. It is a short walk to the right from CLP if facing the beach. Probably no need to give advice to a veteran Negrilaholic but anyway, it was good.

Have an awesome trip! and Happy Thanksgiving. What are you having - jerk lobster? The night before? We will be in St Barths, so I am sure we are NOT having turkey.

Thanks all! Brenda: I have always wanted to try out that place....have heard some pretty good things. We leave the day before Thanksgiving, and get back home on Thanksgiving....so we'll have the traditional dinner at my inlaws. Jerk lobster at 3 Dives is definitely on the schedule, however!
