St. Vincent and the Grenadines
1. The Vincentians themselves warm open happy friendly
2. Nature at it's best, relatively unspoiled, nature lover's paradise
3. Serenity, tranquility
4. Still the "real" Caribbean has yet to be tainted by mega resorts with the exception of Raffles on Canouan
5. So many islands to choose from and all within reasonable travel distance from each other
6. Diversity among the islands within the chain St. Vincent the Mainland all the hustle bustle of the bigcity and busy seaport, Bequia just enough tourism without being tacky and good restaurants, Mayreau simple and beautiful, Mustique site of the rich and famous, Tobago Cays uninhabited gorgeous beaches.........

So many islands, so many great places to visit - it's hard to pick out one best. The following are standouts:
Anguilla for its 35 white sand beaches and 80+ restaurants.
St. John for it's National Park, terrific beaches and great off-beach snorkeling.
The BVI's for fantastic snorkel and dive sites plus an endless selection of palm tree lined beaches.
St. Barths for fabulous French restaurants and chic sophisticated shopping.
Nevis for intimate Plantation Inns admist lush rain forests and friendly locals.
St. Vincent & Grenadines for all the reasons listed by vinceygirl.
Dominica for eco-tourism at it's best.

No doubt about it! Eleuthera no high rises no traffic! Even no low rises!! 100miles of unspoiled beach beauty. Small family owned eateries no chains. No nightlife unless u find a bar with a pool table a nightclub. Duty free shopping non exsistent. But the word is out did u see the NY Times last Sunday? Glad we were able 2 enjoy the hidden gem for 20 yrs. Land has skyrocketed over the past yr. Am happy we purchased when we did. Early 90's u could purchase 2 excellent view lots for the same as Kia now!!!!!!!!!
