Excursions in Runaway Bay

I am interested in excursions from Runaway Bay and would like to know how to reach Carolyn Barrett. Thanks!

You can reach Carolyn at www.barrettadventures.com

RB is about 30 minutes west of Ocho Rios so very close to Dunn's River Falls, Somerset Falls, the White River, the Martha Brae river, rafting and horseback riding at several locations, Glistening Waters/Luminous Lagoon.....what you'd like would depend on your interests.

We did an excursion we booked from the hotel. We went to Ocho Rios, and went shopping (that sucked, the locals are way to pushy, and our guide took us to some out of the way market, so we couldn't just walk around town) we went to the botanical gardens, I think they are called Coboya or something like that. That was really nice. And we did Dunn's River, That is a blast, but if you can't walk well, then avoid it. I stepped in a hole and if I were a senior or a child, I would have brocken my leg I am sure.

Check out the gallery and restaurant at Harmony Hall/Toscanini's just past Ochi with special exhibitions/meet artist events, etc. in December. The cruise ship port 'mall' of shops and the craft market in Ochi won't yield much. Waasi art ceramics, the Cranbrook Flower Forest botanical garden -- and driving back up into the hills, to Browns Town and other markets might prove fun. Carolyn also has a 'secret spot' on the North Coast for snoreklling with stingrays.
