From a travel agents point of view; The Coral Gardens is the most intimate and exclusive resort on Turks. Full suites with ocean views. European Day Spa, and 2 unique restaurants. Sands at Grace Bay would be my other suggestion. This is a luxury beachfront all suites resort. Hope this helps a little.

I agree that Coral Gardens is a terrific place to stay - spacious condos, a pool, nice beach, good snorkeling just offshore, great dinner restaurant, and a dive shop plus spa all on property.

It had everything we needed for a great vacation.

To Gina 1: According to my travel agent, Grace Bay Club and Point Grace are the most intimate and exclusive resorts on Turks. Classic Custom Vacations has both of these hotels as 5 stars and Coral Gardens and the Sands as 4 stars. We just booked at Grace Bay Club. Were we mislead?

I do reef surveys throughout the Bahamas, but have never dove in T&C area. I enjoyed these posts, since I'll most likely plan a T&C excursion next. Must share a book with you: "Water And Light- A Diver's Journey to a Coral Reef." It's a novel about diving througout T&C by Stephen Harrigan. He mentions places like Harmonium Point, Algal Ridge,Lobster Rock, etc. If you've dove in T&C, or are planning to, it's a good read. Robert
