I would like to know if anyone has use their Discover Card in the the Caribbean?
I will be traveling soon to the Caribbean and would like to use my Discover Card.

When we were in Bermuda, no one accepted the card. We were told that it is not accepted outside of the U.S. Not sure if that is really the truth but it did surprise us when we were planning to use it and no one took it so you might want to do some more research.

Not true...we use it everywhere...yes, there are some shops that don't use it, but then again we have Visa, MC and American Express...but prefer Discover...

Some places take it and others don't. Don't know why. If there are means to connecting with resorts and businesses where you are going to travel, just contact them in advance and see if they take it or not.
