More tips on San Juan restaurant finds and recommendations for a great beach on the mid north coast (west of Dorado)?

For some excellent Sushi, try a nice little restaurant called Wasabi, it is located in Condado.

Large menu choice. Our fav place to go when in the SJ area. Absolutley love it!!!

My favorite restaurants were:
Old San Juan:
Dragonfly - a must
Aqua Viva - huge shrimps

Isla Verde:
Cherry Blossom -(Japanese- great sushi, tepanyaki) this place is always busy

Go shopping in Old San Juan.

For a great beach mid north coast (west of Dorado) is Quebradillas. Beautiful view but the water is too dangerous for swimming. There is a restaurant that overlooks that which is the in-house restaurant of Parador Guajataca (a local Inn). Great local cuisine but service is a little slow. Parador Guajataca is about 40 minutes or so west of Dorado. Just after you hit all the traffic lights, you will see the great ocean view and that is Quebradillas.

CERRO GORDO beach is about five miles west of Dorado. A most interesting beach is Mar Chiquita
a small undeveloped beach located about 10 miles west of Dorado.
