Dine Around
We are planning a vaca to Bermuda in Sept
or Oct and am wondering if anyone has used
the "dine around" option that they offer at
the Reefs or Cambridge. ALSO, which would
you prefer Stonington, Reef or Cambridge??
All look great. TIA

I did the dine-around when we stayed at the Reefs, and would definitely recommend it. We stayed for five nights and ate at a different resort each night (although I think they have scaled back the program since we went). Just make sure that you get your reservation requests in early.

I've also stayed at The Reefs, and also had a good experience. As the previous note said, if you have a certain property in mind for dine-around, get your preference listed early (before you go.) The way it works: each property in the group has the trade-around arrangement only on certain nights, and they kind of do one-for-one requests. Also: each of the properties has somewhat different ambiance -- read the travel guides and decide which is for you. (We loved The Reefs warm ambiance, but there are also good things to say about the other properties.)

We just returned from Cambridge Beaches which was fantastic, pricey, but we will return. We were told by a Bermudian friend not to stay at Stonington. The food at Cambridge was fabulous - a french chef Marc. We did the dine around at the Reefs and were disapointed since only their stuffy indoor restaurant was included in the dine around. The outdoors area was spectacular and we would have enjoyed that more. No seafood was offered inside!

Hi,

Just returned from a week at the Reefs and participated in the dine around program. We tried all that was available -- Stonington, Cambridge Beaches, and Pompano. We were disappointed with Pompano. Maybe it was just an off night for them? The food was good, although the atmosphere and service weren't. Cambridge Beaches was great!!! Stonington was good, but probably wouldn't go again. By far though the Reefs was our favorite (both food and after seeing the other resorts). It's worth going to all of them just to check them out, although my advice would be to put Pompano last on your list. Next time we go we're sticking with just Cambridge Beaches for the dine around. Have fun!!

We just returned 8/17 from Bermuda and used the dine around. We stayed and ate most of our meals at the Stonington and once at Pompano. The food at Stonington was superb. We found no reason to leave to eat at the other resorts, and besides the cab ride to Pompano from Stonington cost over $60.00, and the food was good, but not any better. It was our first Bermuda visit, with so much to see and do, we didn't want to waste time running around just to eat.
