I've gone by boat from Virgin Gorda to Anegada, so I'm sure you can do it from Tortola. We've sailed once and gone once on a power boat. Of course, you get there faster on the power boat, sailing is more of an experience en route. The boat charters will set you up with taxis to get you around Anegada - to Loblolly and a place with great snorkling, fresh lobsters and island cocktails. A nice day trip! We went sailing with the Spirit of Anegada, but I think they have new ownership now.

Thanks for the replies - I'm going to check these websites.
The big question is can you get to Anegada from Tortola?
Most departures from Virgin Gorda are in the a.m., which doesn't leave enough time to get there from Tortola.

As far as I know, you can go from Tortola to Anegada only by plane. CARIBBEAN WINGS offers Anegada day trips, www.bvi-airlines.com, [email protected] ,also check CLAIR AERO, phone #1-284-495-2271.

We have been to Anegada 2x ---once by boat and once by air. Both times we were staying on Virgin Gorda. The boat ride picked us up in VG and then went to Tortola to pick up passengers. The ride was long and nauseating. People were pucking out the windows. I couldn't wait to get there. The ride back was better. The following year we called "FlyBVI" and for almost the same price for our family of 4 we were there in 10 minutes from VG airport. We beat the crowds from the daysails to Loblolly and grabbed the few chairs available on the beach. We also got to stay later than the boat crowd. A much better option!!!!! Definately fly!
