Couples Negril - just back - any questions?
My husband and I just returned from a week in paradise at Couples Negril. It exceeded our expectations in every way. If you are looking for a relaxing pampered vacation in a lush, beautiful resort with a gorgeous sandy beach with warm, calm, cystal clear water; delicious, abundant food and drinks and friendly helpful staff, you can not go wrong. Glad to answer any specific questions either here or by e-mail.

To answer the first question, I am working on a trip report and will post it on Caribbean Roundup as soon as its done. Second, it never rained at all the week we were there. Third, the clothing optional beach has some areas that are obscured by trees and shrubs near the beach for sun tanning. However, the actual beach right by the water is quite out in the open. Anyone taking a stroll down the beach, walks right by it. The people who were using the au naturel beach the week we were there didn't seem to mind though. It is right beside the water sports area so anyone waiting to water ski, board a boat etc. are a just a few yards away.

Couples had a bus arranged to meet us. It was very late at night, so we didn't get to see much of the road. We were so tired we drowsed most of the way. We also took a shuttle back to airport from the resort. This time it was during the day and the road really didn't bother us. We had heard horror stories about the road. Yes, its very narrow and bumpy but we had a great driver who slowed down for all the potholes and gave us a little history on each of the places we were passing as we drove along. We looked at it as a tour, a good way to way to see a bit of the island outside the resort. <BR>As far as Beaches, we only saw it from the water, so I can only comment on the beach, which of course being in Negril, is beautiful.
