Coral Bay STJ Villas
This is not an advertisement.
While on JVD a couple of weeks ago we met this really nice couple who are living out their dream of sailing a boat around the Caribbean.
They have 2 villas in the hills of Coral Bay that they rent out. I was looking at their website this am and wanted to just provide the website as one more option for all the STJ lovers out there!
It is www.horizonscottage.com

I think they will be very responsive and very prompt. I sent Sue an email this am to say "remember us" and that I checked out their website.
She quickly replied. Also the guest messages on the website say she is great to deal with and quick response. Good luck...STJ is a wonderful island, my favorite, especially the Coral Bay area.

She did respond pretty quickly! I got a response already. The only thing is that we want to be "on the beach", and I think 1/2 mile down the road might be too far. Have you ever stayed at Maho Bay eco-tents? I am quite curious about those too. The Harmony ones with private toilets! Thanks!

we have only visited the Maho Bay eco tents, they are built on the side of a hill, there are many stairs to the units. Looked pretty cool if you were into that kind of thing. But I thought they were very expensive, about the same as a room somewhere!
Have you checked out Cinnamon Bay campground?? that beach has the most spectacular color. may find it a bit crowded. prices more reasonable for "camping".
Otherwise not much for villas on the beach, STJ is mostly state park, thank goodness...
