Caymans or Turks?

My husband and I are planning a 2 night quick trip (without our kids!) and can't decide between these two. We want a nice resort, beautiful beach with restaurants nearby and a place to go after dinner for a drink or two. Any suggestions?

Where are you flying from? Both are nice and have what you are looking for. I'd choose the one closest for you since you only have two days.

We've been to both and found the food better in the Caymans. Both islands have beautiful beaches, but we preferred GC.

What a great opportunity for some alone time!
If the trip to GC isn't a long one for you, I would fly there and stay at the Ritz, which is one of the world's best hotels. There are many top rated restauarants with high standards of dining within walking distance and places to sit and enjoy a drink or two.

No question - stay at the Royal West Indies (RWI) on Provo (in Grace Bay) in Turks & Caicos. Beautiful beach, best food we've had, right there at the hotel. Other wonderful restaurants, and for alot more money there is an exclusive resort in the Caicos Islands, the name escapes me, check travel sites for the name. But Grace Bay is beautiful, and the dinners at the RWI are excellent.

Both are absolutly beautiful. You can't go wrong no matter where you go. Cayman may have more activities for you to do though. It has a stingray tour that is out of this world, and charming shops and restrants.
