Cayman islands - do I need to pre-book day trips?

I'm headed to Grand Cayman next week and was wondering if I should pre-book my day trips (catamaran/snorkeling trip), or if I can wing it once I get there? Also want to do the night snorkeling - has anyone tried that trip? Thanks for your feedback!

I think you can most likely find something when you get there, but personally, I like to book before arriving so I know I'm all set. Lots of companies to choose from, I'd recommend finding a smaller boat versus going out on a "cattle boat" that is so crowded you can't move.

I pre-booked our sting ray city tour because I wanted to go on a specific day when there were only 2 cruise ships in port - it resulted in less people being there when we were.
