Carribean on the Cheap
We are looking for an inexpensive winter '08 vacation spot. However, I really like CLEAN - clean beds - clean water etc as well as SAFE - safe enough to leave windows open at night. It would be great if we didn't need a car and could walk most places. We can cook in or eat out either way but would like a shady beach. Any thoughts? thank you! - Eileen

You may want to consider Costa Rica. Caribbean is hieght of peak season in winter, and already an expensive destination to begin with.
Plus you'll love the activities there-zip lines, rainforrests, beaches.
