My husband and I are planning to take a vacation on/about July 15. We want to visit an island in the Caribbean that we have not visited yet. We've been to the Bahamas, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Barbados, and Nevis. We're fairly well-travelled and are slightly particular. We've really enjoyed resorts like Las Ventanas in Cabo San Lucas, Sandy Lane in Barbados and the Four Seasons in Nevis.
We were close to booking Carlisle Bay in Antigua but then started reading the forums and now I'm worried.
Has anyone been there recently? Help!

How close are you to your husband? If he doesn't want to go maybe we could go together?

Chrissy ... I don't know about Carlisle Bay .. but we too, did a ton of research before we went to Antigua. We just returned (last Saturday) from a fantastic week in Antigua ... but we stayed at Jumby Bay ... which I would highly recommend ... it was wonderful.

Scratched Carlisle Bay, just too many negative reviews. We're now going to St. Barths. Does anyone have any tips for restaurants, etc? We're looking for low-key fun places.
