car rental on Tortola

We'll be ferrying into West End and staying 2 days (at the Suger Mill I think). We need to catch a private water taxi from Beef Island to Virgin Gorda for the rest of our trip. Is there a car rental company that will allow a pick up in West End and a drop off at Beef Island? If not, and I have to return the car to West End, how can I get to beef island and what might it cost? Thanks!

D&D Car Rental will let you pick-up and deliver anywhere on island. Excellent customer service too. Their telephone no is (284) 495-7676.

Hertz has offices both at West End and at Beef Island. I have picked up at one and dropped off at the other before. Denzil Clyne is also an excellent choice, and does pick-up/drop-off as well.

Another vote for Denzil Clyne. Great customer service! They'll work with you no matter what you need!

Another vote for Denzil!! When we were there, he was just back from the DR and had raw sugarcane. He cut us off a piece and insisted we try it!! A very nice man. We also use them on STJ.

Thanks for the tips! Looks like I'll be calling Denzil Clyne for a reservation.

Also recommend Denzil. But, in our experience 1 day of touring is all you might want. I think I paid $60/day with taxes but not full insurance for a large compact, automatic with A/C in early 2005.
