I appreciate the opinions, however, I'm looking for facts. Are you allowed to bring food into aruba?

Thanks everyone, checked bag fee is $25. I think I'm going to go forward with bringing some frozen food! I'll let everyone know how it went when I return.

Aruba has a great super market, ling and sons, that has most of the same food you can find at home. The prices are are more expensive but that's to be expected since everything is imported.
So the big question, was bringing your own food worth it? My husband was skeptical of the whole idea and told me I was a genius once we got to Aruba. The meats aren't of the same quality as the states and I wouldn't recommend buying a steak from any of the restaurants (including any of the steakhouses on the island). All the food was frozen solid despite two, 2 hr delays. Bringing food also made planning meals easier since you make what you brought which means more time on the beach. Shrimp, steak, meatballs, pork tacos, hot dogs, hamburgers whatever you brought.
In response to whoever that commented about supporting the economy of the island you are visiting.....I'm sure the multiple trips to the market, expensive meals, beers, cocktails, excursions, rental car all supported the tourism and economy of Aruba.
Yes, I would bring food again!
Hope this helps
