There is a great deal from Toronto to the Butterfly Beach in August, but before we decide we would appreciate your advice and recommendations. As this would be an additional unplanned vacation, we would expect to cater for ourselves. Is there a supermarket nearby? We are looking for a nice white beach with very safe swimming - a place where we could read and walk and relax. Many thanks.

There is a small shopping area nearby with a grocery store. Beach is nice -- waves in this area as I've seen people doing wind-surfing there.

have been to Barbados several times and don't know where Butterfly Beach is? As Lois mentions windsurfing is it on the south coast?

Frank: Butterfly Beach is described as 5 minutes from Oistins on the south shore's Maxwell Coast.

I believe it is at Club Mistral near Oistens
