Boston to Jamaica
Also posted this in the Air Travel forum, but this one seems to get more views! Looking to go for a quick weekend "site visit" for a destination wedding in Negril!
Looking for cheap flights from Boston to Montego Bay...just started looking for this summer.
Is it typical for these flights to be above $350? Or should I wait a while and hope it goes down a little?
Just curious as this seems high to me, but then again I typically fly domestic or to Mexico so it's much cheaper. Thanks!

When exactly are you going? We are going to Jamaica in July. We have booked hotel, but not air. Right now prices from our departure point is running $672 p/p. If I could find $350, I'd be jumping for joy. Yes, air to Jamaica is much more expensive than to Mexico, which is just one of the reasons why we frequent Mexico more often. I look at prices constantly. Hoping for better deals after the Spring Break season is over.

I've been waiting for prices to drop for over a month. (Seattle to Montego Bay in August) I'm going through Expedia (America Air for mileage points) because it seems the cheapest to get air/2 hotels bundled. Who are you two going through?

I'm looking for any time in June, and pushing it to anytime in September (which I know not all airlines have prices for yet).
I'm going through any airline, doesn't matter, just the cheapest. Only need to go for a 3 day weekend for a site visit for a wedding!

We want to go on Continential because we can get a direct flight from Houston IAH once we get there from MAF. American makes us go through Miami. We orginally were going to use our miles on Continential, but decided to wait until we booked a more expensive trip like Barbados, but now I'm not even sure Continental goes to Barbados from MAF.
We usually book package deals because they are cheaper, but we are staying at Sandals and their packages were only coming up American and I refuse to fly American unless it's the only way to get there.
I check many sites for pricing. Right now they still have their winter sales going and then in February they will start their Spring Break specials, so probably around late April/early May they will strat their summer deals.
