I travelled to Bermuda during that period a few years ago. You can expect warm weather but it was windy. I went swimming in the ocean but I was about the only one and the locals thought I was nuts.

Ditto. Perfect weather, temps 70 nite, 85 day. Water was pleasantly cool but not cold. Bermudians don't venture into the water after Labor Day or thereabouts. You'll miss most of the flowers & also the low season, but most tourists have cleared out.

We have travelled to Bermuda the last week of October and the weather was heavenly. During the day we wore shorts and did the beach a couple of times. I agree with the previous post, the beaches are deserted and the locals think you are nuts for swimming in the water. At night time we wore pants/jeans and you will need a sweatshirt/sweater. Since the cruise ships stop around this time, a lot of tourism operators are closed for the season. Hope you enjoy your stay!

Please take a look at my Bermuda weather
site: www.bermudaweather.bm which provides 6 years of actual daily weather information, including daily pictures since 1998. There are no guarantees where the weather is concerned, but this information will help.
