bermuda and the expectant mother

My wife and I would like to visit Bermuda in January or February but she will be 5-6 months pregnant by then. Will we have difficulty getting around because there are no cars? Are there alternatives to motor scooters? Advice is welcome.

Hi Russ-There is an excellent bus system ,this is used by most tourists. The other option is taxi, lot and lots on the island, this can be expensive, but they are very handy. You can ride around Hamiliton in a horse and carriage!

Don't forget ferries are also a good way of getting from Hamilton to the West End.

Went in April 1995 when I was 7 months pregnant and had no trouble getting around--on foot, taxis or boats---have a great time.
