Beaches, Turks Caicos/ Which village should we book?

HI! 2 seniors......with an event at the sand dunes of Schooners between the Caribbean and Italian Villages at Beaches/ Turks and Caicos. But we will be vacationing for a week and we understand that there are other villages. We are golfers. Where would you recommend we book? Thank you!!!

Suzy

Hi Suzy, We go to Provo often and stay at The Venetian, a gated condo/hotel complex which is just across the street from Provo's golf course. My SIL golfs almost every day. We love The Venetian because it has one of the widest and quietest beachfronts. However, there's no restaurant on site.

Why am I telling you all this? I'm just not a BEACHES fan. I think it's great for family reunions, or if you're traveling with young kids, but for seniors who might prefer a better beachfront and less hectic environment, there are many other places to stay on Grace Beach.

This probably isn't what you want to hear, so I'll end my post here, and let others chime in...

There are 4 villages at Beaches, but I do t understand your question? If you want to stay at Beaches then the village is your preference, it's the same resort.

Beaches is about a 10 minute drive to the golf course (and not walkable) taxi there is a fortune.

Are you trying to stay somewhere else and just attend the event?

Beaches is very family friendly, seniors with no kids may or may not enjoy the entire week there. Might want to consider a split. For the event you'll have to get a hugely expensive day or night pass, which is more than a night there. So stay at least a night, stay somewhere else the rest of the time?

If wanting to stay at Beaches, personally the most grownup section is Key West, but it's grossly expensive.
