Beaches Turks & Caicos

Has anyone had or been to one of the weddings that Beaches resort Turks & Caicos performs? We are considering it and just wanted somefeedback.
Thanks.

We attended a wedding of a couple that we met while there and it was beautiful. They got married a bit before sunset, on a small foot bridge that is right in front of Schooners. At that time of day most are getting ready for dinner so it was pretty private and really lovely. They had driks and muchies following and then a private dinner for the couple. Very nice.

We too were married in the islands and it really is a nice experience!

We got married in T&C at Coral Gardens; just down from Beaches. We also got to see a couple of other weddings at Beaches. Same minister that married us preformed the weddings there. It is a beautiful beach and setting, especially at sunset. The only set back about going to Beaches or the Allegro is that is where most of the families with children stay. Make sure and do the Island get-away trip for a day or half-day. It's great. We have traveled all over the Caribbean and prefer the laid back, quiet, clean,( and friendly people I might add),in Provo. If you have any other questions just E-mail and I'll let my wife tell you more; since she did most of the planning of the wedding.

Saw a wedding at Point Grace while we were there, it was beautiful. They actually made an aisle on the beach out of conch shells and had an arbor at the end covered with flowers. The only thing I thought was odd was that everyone was in very formal wedding attire -- black tie (they were roasting!), high heels were sinking into the sand and the wind almost blew the bride's veil off her head. If you are actually going to have it on the beach, consider more informal dress.
