Mary<BR>Barbados is quite expensive for prices. I suggest that you hire a car. You can't go wrong with the directions as there is really only one road. We tried several tours and felt we would have been better doing it ourselves. Paul had a good suggestion as well. by the way,not meaning to be rude, but did you know that typing in capital letters means you are shouting!

I've taken an all day (5 1/2 hour) tour of the island in a minibus which was wonderful and quite informative. They cover everthing and I highly recommend them. Have noted below contact info.<BR>for you. I have a complete description of what the tour includes if you're interested.<BR><BR>Destination Management Services, Inc<BR>"Glen-Avon" #5, 6th Avenue, Belleville, St. Michael, Barbados<BR>Tel: (246) 429-6016 Fax (246) 429-6024

I did a tour with Island Safari and had a great time. We saw a lot of the island and great scenery and lots of fun. Do take the time to visit Harrisons cave its a very nice tour and well worth it. <BR>I would say you can skip the wildlife reserve its like a small petting zoo and not all that much to see.

It's quite good when you have local guide! He can show you the Island, after that you can decide if you want to rent a car and visit certain places again! I am living in Barbados and I could recommend a Taxi driver - he will charge you 20 US per hour, but he also can tell you all about the island and in max. 5 hours you have seen the whole island!

Just got back from Barbados the 16th. We took the Island Safari Tour and had a great time. You see a lot of the Island Especially the east coast which has some realy nice scenery. We also visited Harrisons Cave which was interesting and the Wildlife Reserve which was just OK. If you are pressed for time skip the reserve.
