Barbados - newbie post#5 - Diving Schools/Sites

Final newbie post before I can attach links or videos for my vlog
Topic: Diving Schools and Diving Sites

Since we stay in the relatively north St Peter region, we have no intention to visit diving schools in Bridgetown. We scope down to 3 schools before we start our visit to each of them. BarbadoScuba; Hightide Watersport; Reefer&Wreckers.

BarbadoScuba is a tiny school runs by Scott. It's very north. Deep inside Moontown. It's slightly more expensive since Scott emphasizes he uses only top gears in top conditions. We passed by his shop with noticing it. Happily do we enjoyed the north cliffs and back without saying hi to Scott.

Hightide Watersport is inside the beach of Corel Reef Club. After parking, walk straight out to the beach and you'll see it. When we were there, all divers were out diving. Christ greeted us and gave us a lot of suggestions. Turn out he's good in sports above water and does not dive. We feel a little uncomfortable to register without talking to a pro diver ahead.

Reefers&Wreckers is in between Scuba and Hightide. Phillips is the instructor, manager, and owner. Very likely an one man bank. He moved recently. Many accessories are not in place yet. It doesn't affect his quality. Upon couple minutes we talked to him, we know his way matches with ours. Can't explain. It's personal. When we look at each others, we know we both feel comfortable to dive under his instructions.

We did 1 refreshment and 2 others dives in 2 days. Refreshment was held around Nikki beach and Port Charles. Water is shallow. Sun shoots through to the bottom. All fishes are in full colour. And, there are many kinds of them together. Really good pick as a refreshment site.

The 2 dives on day 2 are in the north also. Partly it is because I need Phillips to take care of a few more moves to complete my PADI. It turns out Phillips trained me a few extra for my next level. Cool. Bright Ledges and Pamir the wreck are our targets. Reef Wall is cool and the 18m cargo shipwreck is fun enough to get in and out and in and out and in and out. People say the reef wall of Bright Ledges goes down to 200ft. I must become back to challenge... half of it.
