Bahamas this coming week?

We have a week's vacation starting Saturday. Does anyone know what the weather is supposed to be like this coming week? I can't seem to find any decent info. Some Bahamas travel sites with unddated forecasts (could be for 2002 for all I know), a site that only went through Tuesday and showed high 80's with "chance of rain" here and there, and then a completely different site that went thru Tues or Wed and showed t-storms every day??? Is there a decent site? Would this be a bad time to go? Thx.

You can check current weather predictions for the Bahamas at:

www.wunderground.com

www.waetherbase.com

Keep in mind that for the tropics the reports almost always predict showers/thunderstorms. That's because on any tropical island during any given 24 hour period it will probably rain for some time in some place on the island. What the sites don't tell you is those showers are usually very brief and very localized.

I guess I'm stupid. I cannot find the information I'm looking for on either of these sites. All I want to know is, does anyone know if there's a hurricane or huge storm coming to the Bahamas this coming week, and if not, is it supposed to rain all week? I understand that it rains sometimes, like in Hawaii, but all I want to know is: Is the coming week supposed to be pretty nice or pretty crappy down there? Thanks!

I just don't want to be stuck there if it is going to rain all week long.

Right now there are no major tropical waves, tropical depressions or tropical storms that will affect the Bahamas.

One of the best sites for weather info is www.weather.com. Also check www.thenassauguardian.com for info about the Bahamas and ideas of what to see while you are there.

Have a great time.
