I had a wonderful week in Bermuda Dec 6-13. The weather was spectacular. I did not do much that I haven't previously reported so no trip report. Fourways was still great, I love Angelo's Bistro downtown (former Splendido owner/chef and staff) and there is just nothing like a day on a Bermuda beach (though I was disappointed there are no longer any open facilities at Horseshoe Bay). Planning my return.

cmcfong - one of my BDA friends just posted a FB photo of Elbow Beach on Christmas day - rows and rows of empty champagne bottles lined up in the sand. We should have been there!

No open facilities at Horseshoe? I am assuming this is due to it being off season?

The H Bay changing rooms were open in November, the cafe was not.

Yes, doncallmecass, I am sure it is a cost saving measure. In the past the facilities were accessible year round which is nice if you are spending the day.
txgirlinbda, they need us there ! I know we could have handled at least one or two of those bottles.

Glad you had a nice visit to Bermuda.
I wonder if the closure at Horseshoe Bay is related to the Phase I renovation work:

Perhaps, Bette. I saw no evidence of on going work, but who knows. Still the most beautiful beach I have ever seen and I love it when I have it all to myself.
