What do you mean by negative treatment??
While I personally have not used Luxury Link, I know people that have and were very happy with it. It works similar to E-Bay as Luxury Link reps the resorts on one easy to find and use website.
Sometimes what happens on vacation is you see other guests "getting stuff" that you don't. Many times it is because they paid for a particular package or maybe they are staying on some kind of level that offers 'special treatment'. This has nothing to do with Luxury Link, per se...but for example- There is a Cap Juluca best shot Auction running that will end today. The auction is for a luxury room and their offerings are what every guests receives when staying there. That being said, you must read what is included as there are no dinners, excursions, treatments etc...that is all additional.
Sometimes on LL you can actually wind up paying more than if you booked thru a TA or on your own. Know your prices B4 bidding and read all the details - sometimes you don't wind up with a bargain!

We have traveled 4X on a package from LuxuryLink. The first time I was a bit apprehensive maybe we would be not have as high of service since we paid less than the going rate & on check-in you present your luxurylink confirmation so it is a known fact. In fact I have found the opposite to be true! They are trying to fill rooms & promote business so we have had the best service everywhere we have gone. Go for it!

Bride,
I've used LuxLink twice and have no complaints. The resorts know what you're talking about when you call to confirm and make reservations. The front desk looks at the LuxLink confirmation form the same way they would a travel agent's voucher. No problem.
The only cautions I would give you are these: call the resort before you bid and confirm the type of room in the auction is available when you want to go (within the limits of any resrictions shown on the auction -- valid dates, blackouts, etc.); and know what the best deal is for the same package if you purchased rather than go through the auction; then set a price over which you will not go in the auction (it's easy to get caught up in the frenzy of bidding at the end of the auction for something you want and suddenly discover you've paid more than you would have if you bought retail).
If you are using FF miles to get to wherever the auction item is located, make sure the resort has availability over a wider range of dates in case you find you need to move dates to get a FF seat. That happened to us and the resort couldn't have been easier to deal with on it. They understood what we were going through with the airline and worked with us to make a happy ending.
For the two deals I did with LuxLink, I paid about 60% of the price of the best deal I could find anywhere else for the same package.
Happy bidding and enjoy!!!!

Have used luxurylink twice for Caribbean resorts and never felt we were treated negatively or differently than any other guests. One of the resorts was a place where we had stayed previously (not on a luxurylink package) so I can say with certainty that the treatment was the same

Im leaving in 2 weeks for my honeymoon that i booked thru LL and all parties have been great,,,the resort even changed my room designation at no extra cost and since Palm island is an all-inclusive we are all treated the same..use LL but as others have said 1)make sure the dates are ok 2)dont get carried away..i actually passed on the first 2 tries because it just went to high for my pocket book..but 2 weeks later got it for a $1000 less ...so good luck and have fun
