Has anyone been to Bermuda lately ?? I heard downtown Hamilton is a mess with contruction - any comments ??

There are three major building construction projects going on right now, one right on Front Street, one up by City Hall and the bus terminal, and one on the edge of town close to the loading docks. The waterfront public parking lot is also undergoing a facelift. A mess? I wouldn't say that. But it does mar the charm of the waterfront street scene a little.

Thanks txgirlinbda !! We usually just stay at the Pompano and maybe one time during our visit go to my fav resaurant - Lobster Pot !! Thnks again !

Not as of the last time I drove by (a few weeks ago) - I'll try to do a recon next time DH leaves me the car!!

This is one of those "breaks my heart, but I know it's progress" things. I loved that hotel, many happy memories. It was such a beautiful place and a wonderful restaurant. I do realize time marches on, but I wish it could have marched around that particular spot.
