I'm heading there next month and would like to know whether it is once again the mob scene with uncaring wait staff that so many have complained about. I checked in at where2stay.com and read most of the reviews, and it's amazing to see the contrast in complaints about lousy service before vs after Sept 11. So what is the atmosphere there lately - any changes?<BR><BR>Thanks for any current feedback.

I suggest that you do a search. There have been many recent threads about the Atlantis, with opinions ranging from the worst to great.

I rarely read favorable comments about the service and atmosphere.<BR>Not everyone complains, but most people don't rave about it either.<BR>I say the key test is whether you like Las Vegas. It's the same 'attitude'.<BR>Not Caribbean feeling. Just Vegas in the sea.

Visited Atlantis last August. High prices and crowded. It's like Las Vegas in Nassau. Unless you have deep pockets, I would avoid this one. Did not care much for Nassau. Would not return
