Any great breakfast joints?

To check a bag of groceries or not led me to the list of breakfast foods. Seems grouper is off the table but it is all conch all day. Any good bfast places?

Be careful with checked groceries--
Meats must be frozen and sealed in original containers. Must declare anything over $50 per person

Which leads me to were you trying to bring in breakfast foods or did that just make you think of it?

Bay Bistro is excellent. Caicos bakery is excellent

Do t understand what you mean about the grouper

Thanks for the reply. Still not sure about bringing food items. Flip flopping.

Is it worth the cost and time to check a bag? Not sure. But with just a one week stay, not worrying about gels and liquids and tossing in a bottle of excellent wine might be worth it.

But know all must be frozen. I was thinking is it worth it to pack pancake mix and bacon if I'm already checking a bag of grassfed beef - one for us and one for our villa manager as a gift, as the quality is 1st class. And when I'm lounging by the pool and the back lanai, I would love a wow factor.

Grouper is no longer allowed to be fished for an undetermined time. it needs to be protected. I've been craving grouper as one might crave haddock in MA, conch will have to do. Not thrilled to hear most restaurants are replacing grouper with talapia which I find to be a dirty fish.

Caicos Bakery looks like a great morning drive to bring something back to the villa lanai!

Iga supermarket sells grass feed angus beef
Organics
Free range, etc

So don't know if that affects your thoughts

Truly sell everything, American brands, English and Canadian brands

Well stocked

So bring only if about saving money, especially snacks--

But consider that paying checked bags and declaring over $50 might offset prices anyway

As for grouper- if not allowed to currently catch, not allowed to bring in either, and will be confiscated

Same with conch season, if not allowed to serve in restaurants, not allowed to bring in, even for private consumption

We just returned from another visit to T&C last night. Take Blamona's excellent advice and only bring what's absolutely necessary. Grocery store prices are high, but they do carry almost everything you can find at home.

We found grouper on the menu at several restaurants. At least I hope it was grouper! Also red snapper, and of course, conch.

Just a heads-up that Caicos Bakery ( excellent!) was sold out by mid-morning during most of our stay.

Had a wonderful breakfast - as usual - as Bay Bistro. Also did simpler breakfasts in our condo after stocking up at the grocery store.

I wanted to add that SOMEWHERE CAFE, next door to WINDSONG RESORT, has an excellent breakfast. At least as good at Bay Bistro, maybe better! And definitely fun for lunch or drinks, too! One of our favorite spots in Provo.
