Any good restaurant suggestions in Nassau?

I am headed down to the Bahamas and will be staying at the Atlantis, but I'm hoping to get some suggestions for restaurants outside of the hotel. Any ideas? Thanks.

Try:
The Poop Deck at Paradise Bridge
Montegue Gardens
Ichibans Steak and Sushi
Portofino's or Wedgewood at the British Colonial Hilton
Cafe Matisse
Green Shutters Pub and Restaurant
Chez Willies
The Pink Pearl Cafe
The Fish Fry at Arawak Cay (local food)
Greycliffs (5 star and very pricey, but worth it)

On Paradise Island, you can try Anthony's Grill or The Blue Lagoon at Club Land'or. For lunch the Green Parrott at Hurricane Hole Marina
For sure you should try Compass Point. It is out by the airport but well worth the trip.

Sue; There are neat restaurants around the British Colonial, too. Are you familiar with the privately owned ferry that takes of by the Paradise Island Bridge, and takes you to the dock area in Nassau? Only costs several bucks apiece, and has neat guided tour on the way across the bay. Enough time to eat a lunch at Conch Fritters and other places. There are neat little restaurants which specialize in particular items. The Conch Fritters, across Bay Street from the British Colonial has a macaroni & cheese side order that's unique, and which would humbalize Emeral on the Food Channel. Let me know if you want the recipe for it; I got it off the cook after hours whilst he was having a few Kahliks at the bar. Robert

The best meal we had during our four day visit was at the Poop Deck. Good seafood and local food.

Just got back from a few days at the Atlantis. Luciano's of Chicago, in Nassau, was excellent. Poop Deck was good. Virgil's was good. Carmine's was horrible
